We have owned “SALTWHISTLE” since she was one year old. She has the preferred forward V-berth interior layout. Her varnished bright work is pristine. She has been meticulously maintained and constantly upgraded, always with top-of-the-line equipment and components. She is energy self-sufficient with solar & wind. She spent the first half of her life in fresh water on Lake Ontario and has been our live-aboard home in the Caribbean since 2000. UPGRADES AND REPLACEMENTS
All original high-amperage electrical wiring has been replaced with ANCOR MARINE GRADE # 2/0 cables with high amperage fusing and switches. Feed cables to circuit breaker panels have been replaced with ANCOR oversized cables and BLUE SEAS 50 amp breakers. Wiring and connectors used for all new installations are according to, or exceed, ABYC specifications.
