Easy maintenance access by tilting or removing companionway stairs, and/or panel to aft cabin.
This is a very basic, reliable, and fuel efficient engine. In one summer of sailing, we ran the engine about 45 hours on less than 10 gal of fuel. Raw water pump impeller changed in Dec 2007, as well as servicing of the propshaft through-hull.
