An innovative Ray Richards built by the earliest Asian yard is a rock solid cruiser with lots of beautiful teak. Cheoy Lee Shipyards of Hong Kong was one of the first molders of fiberglass boats in Asia, constructing sailboats for export to the US in the early 60s. It introduced its first model the Bermuda in 1963. By 1965 it offered 11 different models.
The Cheoy Lee Offshore 41 is a good, stiff offshore cruising boat. This boat has been completely gone through and is absolutely beautiful.
